Ryan Howley - 20 yrs
My name is Ryan Howley. I started cutting hair out of my house in 1995. I went on to graduate from Rhode Island Beauty Academy in 2001, and since then, I've worked at multiple locations including Cali Company in Putnam CT for 3 years and A Cut Above in Moosup CT for 3 years. I left there to open The Barber Shop in Danielson CT in 2005 with a business partner. Together, we ran that shop until 2017 when I decided to open my own shop, The Chop Shop, in Danielson CT.
Jon Marcheterre- 15 yrs
Licensed since 2004, and cutting since 2002,
I've worked in both Connecticut and Massachusetts as well as owned my own shop for a few years in Worcester. I believe my strengths are skin fades, shear work, and beards. Although, as a barber I am comfortable with anything thrown at me. I'm 17 years in and still love the craft everyday and will continue it and pass on traditions as I go.
Ian Ezzel- 3 yrs
My name is Ian Ezzell, and I started cutting hair my junior year of high-school just cutting my brother's and a couple friends whenever I got the chance. When I graduated high-school and attended Rob Roy Academy in Woonsocket RI from Sept 2016 through July 2017. I had a couple of minor stints at some other local barber shops until I met Ryan Howley, owner of The Chop Shop. I currently work here and love the traditional style haircuts along with hot towel shaves.
Kevin Lagace - 7 yrs
I started cutting hair about two years out of high school. I was working minimum wage jobs and didnt know what I wanted to do for a career. Growing up, I remember I always liked getting a haircut and always loved to try new styles with my hair. After some thought, I figured I would give it a try and went to school at Brio Academy in Willimantic CT. Throughout school, I really started to take an interest for barbering and this is when the dream of working for myself and eventually opening up a shop of my own as I get older began. I've met Ryan threw the world of barbering and started working with him this year. We have a great environment that is very welcoming. I couldn't imagine working any other place. I've been cutting for approximately 7 years and the thought of doing anything else never crossed my mind. I love every day I go into the shop and get to cut hair. I feel very blessed to have such a great career.
